The April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale was inaugurated in 1993 to meet the growing demand of owners wishing to purchase racehorses already in training.
Prospective buyers have an opportunity to see the two-year-olds breeze over the racetrack during the week leading up to the sale. The upcoming April Sale will be the first juvenile sale in North America in which two-year-olds will gallop over a Polytrack surface.
In just a few years, the April Sale has graduated a number of top winners including Kentucky Derby champion Thunder Gulch, champion filly Beautiful Pleasure, Kentucky Oaks winners Gal in a Ruckus and Keeper Hill, and stakes winners Strong Contender, Borrego and Trippi.
