Keeneland inaugurated the January Horses of All Ages Sale five decades ago, conducting the first editions of the sale in the 1956 and 1957. Following a three-year hiatus, the January Sale was resumed in 1961 and has been held annually since. As the name implies, the January Horses of All Ages Sale offers a variety of racing and breeding stock, including broodmares, broodmare prospects, yearlings, racing prospects, stallions and stallion prospects, and stallion shares and seasons.
