Keeneland Sale Graduate Big Brown Dominates Preakness

Keeneland sale graduate Big Brown continued his quest to become the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years with a 5 ¼-length win in Saturday’s Preakness Stakes (G1).
 
Big Brown becomes the 17th Preakness winner sold at Keeneland. The son of Boundary was purchased by Hidden Brook, as agent for Paul Pompa Jr., for $190,000 at Keeneland’s 2007 April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. Pompa later sold majority interest in the colt to the IEAH Stables. The colt was consigned by Eddie Woods, agent.
