Keeneland On Television and Radio

 

“Autumn at Keeneland” will present live coverage of these races:

 

 Friday, October 7, 5-6 p.m. (ET), VERSUS: $400,000 Darley Alcibiades (G1) and $175,000 Stoll Keenon Odgen Phoenix (G3).

Saturday, October 8, 5-6 p.m. (ET), VERSUS: $600,000 Shadwell Turf Mile (G1) and $400,000 Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity (G1).

Sunday, October 9, 5-6 p.m. (ET), VERSUS: $500,000 Juddmonte Spinster (G1) and $150,000 Bourbon (G3).

Saturday, October 15, 5-6 p.m. (ET), NBC: $400,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) and $125,000 Keeneland 75th Anniversary (L).

 

Each day during the season, the cable horse racing network TVG (tvgnetwork.com) will provide live coverage of every race from Keeneland beginning at 1 p.m. (ET). Additional TVG coverage of the following stakes will be shown on FSN Prime Ticket:

“Keeneland Magazine on TV,” on Thursday, October 6, on Lexington's WKYT at 6:30 p.m. (ET). The 30-minute program features “Good Counsel,” about the long relationship between Keeneland and its law firm, Stoll Keenon Ogden; “Old School,” about the key to success for trainer Rusty Arnold and his wife, Sarah; “New Millennium” about  Ro Parra's approach to raising Thoroughbreds; “Adventures in Dining,” about the popular Lexington restaurant Rossi's; and “Lasting Impression,” about how Keeneland is woven into the fabric of the lives of many people. “Keeneland Magazine on TV” will be re-broadcast on Thursday, October 6, at 7 p.m. (ET) on Lexington's Cwkyt.

 

“Today at Keeneland,” a daily recap show of the day's races each race night in Lexington on Cwkyt at 7 p.m. (ET) Wednesdays through Saturdays and at 6:30 p.m. (ET) on Sundays. “Today at Keeneland” also can be seen on TVG and HRTV the following day. Check listings at TVGNetwork.com and HRTV.com.

 

“Keeneland Close Up,” a 30-minute show at 9:30 a.m. (ET) on Saturdays during the racing season. The show is on Lexington's LEX18.

 

“Keeneland's 75th Anniversary: A Timeless Tradition,” on Saturday, October 15, on Lexington's LEX18 from 7-8 p.m. (ET). The program will be re-broadcast on Sunday, October 16, on LEX18 from 5-6 p.m. (ET). The show celebrates Keeneland’s 75 years of involvement in the Lexington community. From its humble beginnings to its current status as one of the country’s leading racetracks, Keeneland has stayed on the cutting edge of the industry, while maintaining its finest traditions.

 

75 Years of Keeneland: A Look Back, airs Thursday, October 13 at 10 p.m. (ET) on KET and Monday, October 17 at 10 p.m. on KET2. Host Bill Goodman talks with Nick Nicholson, current president and CEO of Keeneland, and former presidents James E. "Ted" Bassett III and William C. "Bill" Greely about the history of Keeneland.

Horse Racing Radio Network, the Eclipse Award-winning radio network based in Lexington, will provide extensive coverage of Keeneland's fall racing season. Through HRRN, live coverage of the day's feature race or races at Keeneland will be broadcast in Lexington at HANK 96.1 FM; on a number of radio stations in Kentucky; on satellite radio on Sirius 93 and XM 209; and worldwide via free live streaming on HorseRacingRadio.net.
