Parking and Directions

At Keeneland, our goal is to provide each customer with a wonderful experience-from the time they arrive until after the last race. Be sure to follow the signage, as well as these helpful tips. 

At A Glance  (Click here to see a map)

• Gate 1 is the entrance located across from Man o’ War Boulevard
• Gate 2 is the Main Entrance where the
  iconic Keeneland Guidepost is located
• Tailgating is permitted inside Gate 2 only
  in the area by the Gate House
  (the small stone house located on the right)
• If you park in the Tailgating/Gate House lot,
  there is no exit thru Gate 2; you must exit via Gate 1
• If you park in the Louisville Lot, you can only enter
  via Gate 2; you can only leave via the lot’s designated exit
• After 3:45 p.m., Gate 1 and Gate 2 are Exit Only;
  to enter Keeneland after 3:45, you must take Gate 3,
  located on Rice Road, off Versailles Road

Coming to Keeneland

Free Parking:

• From Lexington (West) - Gate 1
• From Louisville (East) - Gate 2 and take immediate
  left into the Louisville Lot.

Clubhouse Valet Parking (Members and Guests of Members Only):

• Gate 2 – Stay in center lanes

Preferred or Pre-Paid Parking

• Gate 2 Keep Right

Tailgating/Gate House Lot

• Use “Tailgate Entrance” between Gate 1 and Gate 2

Handicapped, Corporate Box, Media, Horsemen and Sponsor Parking

• Gate 2 Keep Right

Leaving Keeneland

Gate 1:  

• 5 Exit Lanes
• East Bound—(Lexington, 1-75, I-64)-- Three Left Lanes
• Man O’ War Blvd—Center and right hand lanes
• West Bound -- (Louisville, Versailles, US-60)—Far Right Lane

Gate 2:

• 4 Exit Lanes
• East Bound—(Lexington, 1-75, I-64) – Three Left Lanes
• West Bound -- (Louisville, Versailles, US-60)— Two Right Lanes

 Gate 3/Rice Road Exit:

• Turn left for Versailles Road
• Turn right for Old Frankfort Pike

Handicap Accommodations

To park in the handicap parking section, you must present and display a valid handicap parking permit. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at no cost. Wheelchair transportation is available from the handicap parking area to the grandstand areas and dining rooms upon request.

Shuttles/Trams
Free shuttle transportation from the parking lots to the Grandstand East Entrance throughout the day; look for the green/white canopies and benches throughout the parking area for shuttle pick ups; if you need special assistance, please ask one of our parking attendants
