Today, on the final day of the 17-day Keeneland fall meeting, the track will be honoring Director of Communications Jim Williams. Williams is retiring at the end of 2009 after 38 years with Keeneland. |

A total of 33 horses that raced at Keeneland in October and/or had timed works at the track during the month are among the pre-entries for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on November 6-7 at Santa Anita in California. A total of 166 horses, including 10 defending or former Breeders’ Cup champions, were pre-entered for the Breeders’ Cup. Pre-entries were announced on Wednesday. |
