Adele Dilschneider and Claiborne Farm’s Blame rallied from next to last to overtake even-money favorite Parading and win the 51^st running of the $150,000 Fayette (G2) by 1 ¼ lengths as Keeneland wrapped up its 17-day fall race meeting.

Today, on the final day of the 17-day Keeneland fall meeting, the track will be honoring Director of Communications Jim Williams. Williams is retiring at the end of 2009 after 38 years with Keeneland.

A total of 33 horses that raced at Keeneland in October and/or had timed works at the track during the month are among the pre-entries for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on November 6-7 at Santa Anita in California. A total of 166 horses, including 10 defending or former Breeders’ Cup champions, were pre-entered for the Breeders’ Cup. Pre-entries were announced on Wednesday.
