For fans on the go, Keeneland offers drive-thru wagering. For live racing, drive-thru betting windows typically are open from 8 a.m. until the day's feature race. On simulcast racing days, it is open from 8 a.m. until about 3 p.m.
Betting at a drive-thru window is the same as betting with a clerk at any mutuel window—except you never have to leave your car!
When you are betting with a clerk, there are some rules we suggest you follow to help make sure your bet is properly entered into the tote machine and to ensure that the customer lines move quickly.
1. State the Name of the Track (i.e. Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Oaklawn, etc.)
2. State the Race Number
3. State the Amount of the Bet
4. State the Type of Bet
5. State the Number of the Horse
