Let’s Help Military Missions Fill Care Packages for 2,000 Soldiers this Holiday Season

As part of our Military Family Day on Sunday, Oct. 25, Keeneland is partnering with Military Missions to collect items to include in Holiday care packages for soldiers located in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We’re asking fans coming to the races on Sunday to bring items that can be included in the care packages; if you drop off an item at the sales pavilion, you’ll receive free general admission to the races that day.

Among the items requested for the care packages:

1.    Travel-size toiletries (no bar soaps or razors, please)

2.    Granola or snack bars in boxed packaging

3.    Long solid white cotton socks (calf length or taller)

4.    Foot powder

5.    Insoles

6.    Baby Wipes
