College students from across the country will be at Keeneland Friday, October 16 for one of the track’s most popular promotions – College Scholarship Day. Keeneland partners with the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association to host the day.

Full-time college students can register to win one of ten $1,000 scholarships to be given away following each race. Registration begins when gates open at 11 a.m. and will take place in Keeneland’s new College Zone, located on the North Terrace.  Live music, free food and drawings for prizes including an i-Pod Touch, courtesy of Best Buy, a membership to Urban Active, free pizza from Papa John’s and season tickets to the Lexington Stallions will be offered.

The first 1,000 students to register will receive a free long-sleeve Keeneland College Scholarship Day T-shirt, courtesy of Hands On Originals.
