Dunkirk, the $3.7 million sales-topper at Keeneland’s 2007 September Yearling Sale, has emerged as a Triple Crown contender. The grey son of Unbridled’s Song is undefeated in his first two career starts, most recently scoring an impressive win 4 ¾-length win an allowance race at Gulfstream Park.

 

Out of Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Secret Status, Dunkirk was consigned to the September Sale by Lane’s End, agent, and purchased by Demi O’Byrne.  He races in the colors of Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor & Derrick Smith and is trained by Todd Pletcher.
