Ballymore Lady, the betting favorite, wore down Street Sounds in the stretch to win the featured $58,200 Parrish Hill Purse Thursday at Keeneland.
The 5-year-old daughter of War Chant ran the one mile on the turf in 1:37.19 with Corey Lanerie aboard.
Ballymore Lady finished a half-length in front of Street Sounds with New Edition another three-quarters of a length back in third in the field of eight fillies and mares.
Ballymore Lady is owned by Sean Mulryan’s Pegasus Horses, Ltd. and is trained by Eddie Kenneally. She won for the fifth time in 15 starts and increased her career earnings to $212,221 with the winner’s purse of $37,470.
The winner paid $5.80.
