No Fault saved ground along the rail until the top of the stretch where he overtook Timbucto en route to a decisive win in the $53,900 Ashford Stud Purse Wednesday at Keeneland.

The 5-year-old son of Broken Vow ran seven furlongs over the fast Polytrack in 1:21.79 and finished 1 ¼ lengths in front of John’s Road. John’s Road was a nose in front of third-place Forty Grams.

Timbucto set the pace to the top of the stretch before fading to fourth in the field of 11 3-year-olds and upward.
Robby Albarado rode No Fault, who won for the fourth time in 28 career starts while increasing his earnings to $166,410.  He is owned by Mace and Samantha Siegel’s Jay Em Ess Stable and trained by Paul McGee.

The winner paid $20.80 and gave Albarado his second of three wins during the afternoon.  Albarado also won the third with Seal Team ($6.40) and the ninth with El Indy ($15.40).

Jockey Calvin Borel and trainer Ian Wilkes combined to win three races Wednesday.  They took the fourth with Delilah’s Seven ($7), the sixth with Seemingly ($11.80) and the seventh with Tiz to Dream ($11.20).
