Features One-of-Kind Items, Ornament Project to Benefit Kentucky Children’s Hospital, Book Signings and More
The Christmas Shop at Keeneland, a favorite destination for holiday shoppers throughout Central Kentucky, opens on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Located trackside, in Keeneland’s lower club, the Christmas Shop offers a broad variety of holiday items in all prices ranges—many of which are equestrian inspired and uniquely Kentucky.
This year, customers have an opportunity to decorate ornaments for a great cause. For $5, customers can purchase a plain ornament, decorate it and return it to the Christmas Shop by Nov. 29. Both the finished ornaments and the proceeds from the ornament sales will go to Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Everyone who brings a finished ornament back the shop will be eligible for a drawing to win tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Rockettes on Thursday, Dec. 10 at Rupp Arena.
The Christmas Shop will host an Open House Dec. 4 through Dec. 6 that will include a tasting from the Bluegrass Winners Cookbook on December 5. In addition, customers can have two best-selling books signed for personalized gifts. On Friday, Nov. 27, Keeneland’s Chairman Emeritus Ted Bassett will sign copies of his book Keeneland’s Ted Bassett My Life. Photographer Jeff Rogers will sign copies of Kentucky Wide 2 on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays Noon to 5 p.m.
