Keeneland to Hold DRF/NTRA Handicapping Championship Qualifying Event on August 2

On August 2, Keeneland will hold its Daily Racing Form/NTRA Handicapping Championship qualifying event, which awards a $15,000 first prize and three berths to the National Handicapping Championship (NHC) in Las Vegas in January 2009.

Keeneland Breeders’ Cup Challenge Handicapping Contest Begins Saturday

On Saturday, July 26, the Whitney (G1) at Saratoga Race Course and the San Clemente (G2) at Del Mar will help to kick off the Keeneland Breeders’ Cup Challenge. The handicapping contest, which awards two trips to the 2009 Coast Casinos Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas, consists of 44 races, plus the 14 races that are part of this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita.

First Lady Jane Beshear and Keeneland Announce “Horses and Hope”

First Lady Jane Beshear today announced “Horses and Hope,” an initiative she has created with the Kentucky Cancer Program. The project will foster work with the state’s equine industry to identify new opportunities to provide breast cancer awareness, education, screening and treatment referral, as well as to raise funds to sustain programs into the future.
Keeneland and Turfway Park Jointly Announce New Shoe Policy
